To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.
Account Creation: To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Eligibility: Only registered users can create projects.
Project Guidelines: Projects must comply with our guidelines, which prohibit illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content.
Project Description: Creators must provide a truthful and accurate description of their project.
Funding Goals: Creators set a funding goal and deadline. Projects must reach their funding goal within the deadline to receive funds.
Backer Responsibility: Backers pledge funds to projects and must provide payment information.
No Guarantees: The Platform does not guarantee the success or quality of projects.
Refunds: Backers may not be entitled to refunds except under specific conditions outlined in our refund policy.
Platform Fees: We charge a service fee on successfully funded projects. The fee structure is outlined on our Fees page.
Payment Processing Fees: Additional payment processing fees may apply.
User Content: Users retain ownership of their content but grant the Platform a license to use it for promotional and operational purposes.
Platform Content: All other content on the Platform is owned by us or our licensors.
Users agree not to:
Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Post false, misleading, or harmful content.
Interfere with the operation of the Platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users or the Platform.
Arbitration: Any disputes arising from these Terms of Use will be resolved through binding arbitration.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. The revised terms will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the changes.
