Camp of Hope Trust is non-profit organisation located in Ruwa Old Windsor with a specific focus on empowering women, girls and boys. Camp of Hope intends to host a venting session, offering a safe space for resource sharing, and community building specifically focusing on single mothers. The venting session is going to allow us identify the specific needs of the women of Solomnio Ruwa. We have held training workshops for these women before that include a detergent making workshop. We however have been brought to the understanding that not all of the women we trained have had the fair opportunity of actually making it. Our studies have shown that only two women from the group we trained for hairdressing have been able to use those skills profitably. This session is going to help us understand the specific needs of each and every one of the ladies and intervene accordingly.
We are seeking financial support to fund this cause. The funds will be allocated towards common issues faced by single mothers which are not limited to the following :
– Educational resources and training materials for their children
– Essential groceries and necessities for their families
